Field Operations · East Africa
A Specialist Operator,
Built for Purpose
Swiftaid Logistics · Nairobi, Kenya
Swiftaid Logistics was established to address a structural gap in East Africa's operational delivery landscape. The sector lacked a specialist operator capable of supporting humanitarian and development organisations, from procurement and sourcing of relief supplies, through warehousing, transport, field delivery, and operational reporting, to the standards their programmes require. The commercial logistics sector moves freight. Swiftaid supports the mission.
We are a specialist mission-support operation built from the ground up for the standards, accountability requirements, and operational realities of the humanitarian and development sector in East Africa.
Our operations are structured around the realities of the sector: donor accountability obligations, constrained-access field environments, time-critical emergency deployments, and the documentation standards that institutional funding requires at every stage of the supply chain. These are not adaptations we make for clients. They are the operational baseline from which we work.
Active operational presence across East Africa's primary humanitarian corridors.
Structured for the compliance, reporting, and accountability requirements of institutional clients.
Documented movement records for every shipment, from origin to last-mile delivery confirmation.
Led by professionals with direct field experience in East Africa's humanitarian and development corridors.
Three commitments that govern every engagement.

01
Mission Before Movement
Every procurement and logistics decision is measured against the programme objective, not the delivery schedule. When a mission depends on reliable support, that support must serve the mission, not the other way around. We do not optimise for throughput. We optimise for programme continuity.
-
02
Accountability as Standard
Transparent reporting, documented chain of custody, and structured communication throughout every engagement. We do not treat accountability as an add-on for donor-facing programmes. It is the operating standard for every contract, regardless of scale or client type.

03
Built for East Africa
Operational knowledge of East African corridors, access routes, border environments, and security landscapes, acquired through presence, not desk research. This is the baseline required to operate in the region, not a point of differentiation.
